Skein winding - my arm's already sore...lol.
Getting organised for my next few projects. Mind you I do have several WIP shawls and socks.
I love hand-dyed yarn - and I still have about 50 skeins waiting to be used! 😜

@SuzyShearer @knitting beautiful setup! Those skeins look amazing!
@jfoley @knitting If only I can figure out a way to do it automatically....lol
@SuzyShearer @knitting that would be the dream! Haha let me know if you figure it out. I’ll invest!
@SuzyShearer @knitting I think at 50 is when you start to look at the affordability of electric winders 🀣
@wobin @knitting In that case I'm 24 years late 😜

@SuzyShearer @wobin

I'd be only a few years late but I realized that it's better not to try anymore to wind too many skeins at once.

I had a permanent set up but it requires standing. Don't want to do that anymore either.

Time to reorganize the "craft" room.

@FanCityKnits @wobin I did 11 today. Won't do any more until I finish my WIPs & use these new 11... I hope 😁
@SuzyShearer @knitting Once again Suzy I'm loving your colors so much!! What's next?
@KarenStrickholm @knitting Thanks, Karen, probably because as well as being an author, I'm also an artist...lol
The yarns - 8 are for Beach Nights shawl and the other 3 are for Snow Gum shawl.
Itching to start but maybe should finish my WIPs. 🀣
@SuzyShearer @knitting I love Beach Nights! It's in my queue. Will check out other one. I have a strong color sense, studied art and textile design but my main squeeze was comparative literature, specializing in early medieval Spain, ~700 to ~1100, when people of Jewish, Muslim and Christian faiths lived together in relative peace and harmony, inquiring into what the sense of the divine was back then. So esoteric! My PhD sponsor was, of course, an ex-Jesuit... the brainiacs of the humanities.
