Perhaps that's just how the conference seasons are and people were / are talking about what's happening at conferences?

@evacide I think with so many communities focused on #infosec, it definitely helped draw infosec professionals over. Plus, a lot of these infosec focused instances have much larger character limits & moderation that imo is pretty friendly towards those in infosec.

We've got instances like infosec.exchange, infosec.town, cyberplace.social, noc.social, hachyderm.io, ioc.exchange, hackers.town and more to thank for hosting the infosec community on the #fediverse!
