Anyone who sees the President still needs to test for #COVID-19.
Yet at the same time, the White House continues to put out the message through the media that the "pandemic is over."
The White House is right to continue testing to protect its staff, as COVID levels are rising again, and many people are still at risk.
However, the White House continues to downplay the pandemic in the media, leading the public to take fewer precautions than the White House is taking themselves.

Whatever strain I came down with is no joke. Started feeling sick on Sunday, so I took a test and it was positive. I'm 4x vaccinated, and still have the whole constellation of symptoms. Food tastes weird. Headaches. Congestion. Cough, sore throat, fatigue, malaise, brain fog. I'm lucky to be able to go virtual for a week, but many people don't have that luxury. I can also afford to buy my own tests so I knew what it was and won't spread it.

Obviously the White House, and its elderly resident, have reasons to be extra cautious.
IAG@luckytran Reminds me of this one Chinese guy I met on Discord who said "But COVID is over." My immediate response was "'Covid is over,' declares the government, 'Get back to work, slackers.'" That should be your response to this nonsense too; Covid is NOT over and never will be over, because it is here to stay.
