I'm not sure whether I'll set up a dedicated soccer profile for myself - feedback on that would be welcome.

With the CONCACAF #GoldCup ongoing, I put together a quick visual summary of which countries have participated, and done well, in the tournament since it began in 1991.

Too bad the #USMNT lost in the semis on Wednesday.

@morphosis7 My own personal take would be if you can find a more soccer/football-focused Mastodon server it would probably be worthwhile to setup a second account there. Easier to get the content you want given how that server would be federated as well as higher likelihood of your content getting in front of eyes that would want to see it.

@yelly Yeah, I'm kind of thinking along similar lines. Do you know if there's a Mastodon client that allows simultaneous sessions with multiple accounts?

Having a sports alt might help me focus on gaming / other hobbies here, like the rabbit hole of No Man's Sky that YoungMorphosis pushed me down a week or so ago. Again.

@morphosis7 I've only used iOS apps so far but every one I've used has supported multiple accounts. And having accounts on different servers makes "switching" between accounts in a browser trivial.
