I made pasta for dinner! 🍝

With fried garlic, parsley, oregano, olive oil and Pecorino Romano cheese ✨✨

@lina Looks tasty 🤤🙂

By the way, is there an upper limit for cheese?

@fredrikkarlsson In quantity? I would say don't have more cheese than pasta at least ^^

@lina looks lovely 😋

are olive oil and parmesan expensive in japan? i assume they have to be flown in…

@hikari It's not that expensive! Of course it'd be cheaper in Europe but it's not super fancy or anything used like this.

Olive oil in particular is widely available, there's like a whole section of it at the supermarket!

@lina @hikari people everywhere love olive oil so there's clearly a lot of infrastructure set up to get it to them

(also cheese)

@lina @hikari Whenever I watch any YouTuber in Japan doing something with food I keep thinking “it looks so good and it’s so cheap!”.

Minnesota is much more expensive:( And doesn’t look nearly as good (the food that is).

I’m pretty sure the “Japan is expensive” must be some old thing.

@breadbin @lina oh food is complicated because like, it's possible for a country to have way better bang for your buck for prepackaged snack foods but worse value on other things. i think that's the case for japan: the stuff convenience stores sell is unbelievable
@hikari @lina I swear everything is expensive here so :)

@lina but where's the cream sauce?!?!!

It looks great Lina!

@Volf No need! It's so good just like this, with a pinch of black pepper to taste~

Thank you!! ^^
