Incidentally, I found the actual tappy bits surprisingly easy to learn. The song itself takes a bit longer to learn. Putting them together will likely take me a lifetime. It's patting your head and rubbing your tummy but for AN ENTIRE SONG.
mywildlens@girlonthenet ohhhh we used to do that tapping as part of a game at university (everyone did it together in a circle but the last tap we passed the cups to the next person). I can’t imagine singing to it at the same time though!

It kind of reminds me of a rhythm game we used to play in Japan where you'd slap your thighs/clap/click and then say someone's name/a number and they had to repeat their name that number of times, but in the rhythm and then pass it on. @girlonthenet it was a lot of fun, and really amazing when everyone taps exactly right. That game sounds interesting though. A bit like that zap buzz game that kids have to play in organised groups but way more complex!

@girlonthenet I’m cheating. I’m a musician already. I play piano and saxophone. So singing and playing with my hands is something I’ve done before. Although it wasn’t easy and my family were rather annoyed at the constant song for an hour till I got it. Sent the dog to sleep though 🤣
