Does anyone else have this issue with newer #iphone ? When using a 3rd party app to scan a bar code, the camera won't focus because it's using the main cam instead of the wide cam. Older iphones could focus closer with the main cam but it seems almost no app uses the right cam for newer iphones. This basically means no 3rd party scanner app works on iphone 14. #apple #iOS #iphone14 #camera #technology #problem
John Balestrieri@Darus Seems to be a widespread issue for me with many apps. Even Apple's QR scanner in the control center has the same issue.
@Tinrocket yeah basically any app outside of the camera app can't focus because of this. I can't believe this hasn't been a bigger deal. It's been driving me nuts since switching to the 14 and honestly seems like it should have been addressed by Apple by now.
