In-N-Out Burger bans employees from wearing masks unless they have a doctor's note
Most people I know are only wearing masks now if they catch colds and flus and don’twant to spread it when going out and n public.
Which seems to me to be when you’d WANT your food service employee (whom you probably forced to work while sick) to wear one, so that they don’t spread it to the rest of your staff. But I guess I’m not a fast food company, corporate executive, so what do I know?
Had to get some blood work done at the local hospital. Signage everywhere basically saying “You don’t have to wear a mask but you are really stupid if you aren’t wearing one in the waiting room or basically anywhere there are patients”. I was probably the only person in the entire building to have one on.
I am triple or quadruple vaccinated or whatever we are up to at this point. I’ve also managed to catch covid enough times from my (old) work that I am pretty confident I don’t have the long covid genes. So if I am going to be eating and drinking somewhere, I’ll not bother with a mask as I am screwed already. But if I am going to a store or watching a show or whatever? Wearing a mask costs me next to nothing (kn95s are pretty cheap) and means I don’t get convention flu anymore. And, honestly? It is nice if I forgot to shave this morning or whatever.
