jz.tuskOkay, I know next to nothing about accessibility, but, there's an image I've used 5-10 times, after entering alt-text for the fourth time, I'm wondering "Why can't I add this to the metadata in the image file, and have my mastodon app pull it from there each time I use it?".
Are there any plans to try this? It'd be a big effort, but y'all seem to be thinking big.
@jztusk It's possible in some very limited cases, but doesn't address a number of the issues we're aiming to solve. On its most basic level, that text wouldn't be reliably shareable, especially across multiple platforms.
