This week's video is a doozy! I go through every single @obsidian plugin I currently have installed-- all 46 of them. I try out a lot of plugins, and consider it an achievement to have made it under the 50 mark. 😅 There are many awesome plugins in the Obsidian ecosystem... these are just the ones that stuck around for MY particular use cases.

Happy weekend!

Fabulous! So many inspiring plugins that I have always scrolled past not thinking how they'd ever be useful because I actually just don't know what they do!
And the write up for each is just an extra super bonus - thanks Nicole!
@nicole @obsidian How do you handle the hassle of configuring every plugin you're currently using when doing a new Obsidian installation (new device)?

@nicole Thanks for sharing them! I didn't know about the Changelog plugin it's quite interesting for keeping a log of recently changed files.

By the way, I always thought what's the purpose of setting the date in some of the files you show in some vids, is it for knowing when the file was edited?

@bultack Yes, I like to look at my notes chronologically -- sometimes I know WHEN I was working on something, but can't remember what, and it helps to be able to go to a specific date and see in the backlinks what I was working on. It's also good from the perspective of journalling/introspection, which I also use Obsidian for.
@nicole That's interesting, thanks for clarifying 🙂
@nicole @obsidian o loved the video. Thank you for sharing.

@nicole @obsidian Hey. The video was really amazing and full of valuable insights.

I really liked your basic note template. I was wondering how it was created. Would love to know if you have any video or any post on that. :)

@Jyotirmya @obsidian Thanks, glad to hear it! I created a template using the Obsidian Templater plugin! Here's the video I made on that: https://youtu.be/5j9fAvJCaig
Using the Obsidian Templater Plugin

@nicole @obsidian The link seems to be broken for me. Although I did go and check your templater video.

In your plugins video, your notes have a section at the very top that includes aliases, publish and add property. That's the specific section I couldn't figure out.

@Jyotirmya Oops, sorry, I just edited it now for others who may find this later. Glad you found it regardless.

Ah - yeah, I shouldn't have shown that. It's something I'm testing that isn't currently out yet. Sorry about that!

@nicole @obsidian you inspire me to enhance my obsidian experience thanks for your content!
@rafaelbressan @obsidian Thank you, I appreciate the encouragement! Happy to be able to help. :) <3
