Playing through Cyberpunk 2077 again, I still don't get why it cops so much hate.

It truly is one of the best games ever made, it just had a rocky start like nearly every single open world FPS RPG out there. Think of games like Skyrim and Fallout 3 and 4.

Yes, there were problems with Cyberpunk, but the game systems, the city itself, are all spot on.

Sometimes games get hate long after problems are fixed, for no good reason; sometimes it's the opposite #Gaming

@sortius Yeah, I think it’s pretty good now and it also has a decent modding scene these days! It for sure had a rocky start, it was unplayable for me. I didn’t get into until….1.4 I think.

@TheMadIrishman yeh, it was a bit of a mixed bag for people. I had a few minor bugs in 1.0, more stage direction than game breaking. I did have one game breaker, but I went back to a previous save and it fixed itself.

They really have polished it up now, and with a decent graphics card (I just bought), it's truly stunning to just walk around in the city

@sortius I had the dreaded audio issues with the crackling and popping constantly. It was infuriating. Lol
