Shiny Frog Releases Bear 2.0

Today, Shiny Frog launched Bear 2.0, a ground-up rewrite of its popular note-taking app that has been years in the making. Is this definitely correct? It’s 2x £30 subscriptions now one for iOS one for macOS vs one subscription for *all* platforms like it was before?

Not sure that’s right… if it is… then that’s quite the price hike.

Pretty sure it’s incorrect. Their support site says a single sub covers all devices logged into the same Apple account. Believe you buy it on one device and can restore purchases on the others, including across iOS and MacOS.

@Courtenay @daveycraney The post has been updated. Bear’s App Store setup is a little convoluted for legacy reasons - the Mac app is separate - which makes it look like a separate subscription, but it isn’t.
