Boycotting something conservatives don't like: Voting with your wallet, civic duty, patriotic.
Boycotting something conservatives like: Cancel culture, western civilization in decline, should be illegal.
@chaosrsa @drahardja
I agree with you and I agree that conservatives often try to outlaw things based on personal preference.
However, we're talking about boycotts, so I'm not sure this is totally relevant to the conversation.
@jargoggles @drahardja probably because I didn't understand what you where saying.
"Boycotting something conservative like.....could be illegal."
How else whas I supposed to read that?
I got it 🤦♂️.
I think I was thrown of by the like part. I just think to make it more accurate it's "like: racist, sexist, anti-Semitic and hunting the homeless for sport." Ok, maybe the homeless part is a bit too much. But I can see someone of the GOP actually say that.
@drahardja Wish I had thought of this description when I was with a group whining about Wokeness and asked what that word meant, they finally blurted out it meant judging them for having unpopular opinions
Next time; buck up special snowflake, that's just the free market of ideas expressing their freedoms. Stop feeling entitled to have some anti-woke politician use the government to bail out ideas rejected by the market. You gotta be self reliant, and pull yourself up by your own bootstraps
Conservatives use coded language for civil rights rollbacks.
They believe evangelicals should be allowed to impose their crackpot religious beliefs on others.
Conservatives believe citizens should not have free choice in how to live their lives.
Conservatives believe in slavery in all its forms, cognitive, economic, and political.
Religion is narcissism with a forged permission slip.
Sure buddy. Your invisible pink unicorn friend told you that in that book that says 'love and be kind' it really meant 'hate and objectify'.
