Can I just say how brilliant #Obsidian ( @obsidian ) is at helping me organise and understand knowledge. In particular, the Spaced Repetition plugin.

I used to collect ideas and information in #Notion. It worked brilliant as storage, but retrieval was never as thorough nor as quick as I wanted.

But Obsidian.md gives me access to what I 'know'. It took a lot of effort to shift everything over, but I'm so glad I did.

@obsidian @ollie_francis sounds great! How do you use the spaced repetition plugin? At the moment, I struggle to use Obsidian as my main PKM tool

@robik @obsidian I've used it in a few different ways. For research, my favourite way is to make a literature note based on whatever notes I've collected in my Highlight Library and then format that note with questions. I tend to use a lot of images. I've also tried reviewing whole notes and other variations.

Ultimately I think the only thing that matters is that we stick to reviewing the flashcards regularly. How we actually make the notes is secondary. 👍

What's your experience?

@obsidian @ollie_francis I use Anki for flashcards and I agree with you: the important part is to review the cards. I struggle a bit on sticking to use Obsidian because I still have to find a method that works for me
