Loads of fun visiting the Computer History Museum in Mtn View with two bona fide geeks.
@leo been there 15 years ago. Such a great place full of “memory” :)

I remember the day they posted their "Green Card" message to every single Usenet Newsgroup. So you had rec.pets and Spam, alt.binaries.pictures and Spam, talk.politics and Spam...

@leo As an ex-deccie I had the pleasure of visiting the Rhode Island computer museum last month, had a fantastic time. It’s well worth checking out when you are back visiting old haunts … I believe they have recently moved to a larger space.
@leo looks like that UNIVAC has been rebooted a few times 😏
@leo if you ever get to the UK you should visit Bletchley Park, you would love it
@paulskUK @leo Absolutely! The National Museum of Computer History is next door as well. I had privilege to tour both with Alan Kay back in 2018.
@paulczy @leo my daughter was 7 when she gave a lecture there on making and programming Lego robots!
@CharlesFineberg Hey, Charles, who's that guy in the glasses with you? (Next time we meet I'll tell you the old joke to which that's the punch line.)
@leo But are the fries Animal Style?
@leo I don't know how I managed to miss visiting here when I was in #California a few years ago.
@leo I absolutely loved visiting that museum
@leo haven’t been in ages, I should make the trek down there again
@leo I am convinced that In N out burger is not real. I have never seen one before. Now granted, I have never been to the west coast before. Is the west coast even real?
@leo - very good show - this is TWIT at your best - everybody clicking and joking around.
