Ok Mastodonians with a musical bent, help me out!

My wife has a song in her head that she can only recall shouting out the days of the week — “it’s a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday…” type of thing.

She can usually hum a tune into a straw and I can figure it out, but this is a stumper.

It is NOT “Police on my Back”
It is NOT “Never on a Monday”
It is NOT “Friday on my mind”
It is NOT “Friday I’m in love”
It is NOT “Days of the Week” by Stone Temple Pilots

It is not anything else I have been able to find, probably better than two dozen songs we’ve checked.

Help? Ideas? She insists it’s going to piss me off when we figure it out because it’s “so easy”…. Says it’s mid-80s, Brit/synth pop styling

@pejacoby I am almost certain this isn't right, but the first thing that came to mind was Black Flag's "Annihilate This Week" which has somebody shouting days of the week way in the background behind the chorus.

(And it's not the Happy Days theme song, right?)

@jzb not Happy Days theme, that’s the second one I started singing 😀

She’s also not a punk fan, so Black Flag isn’t it (I do love TV Party myself)

Thanks for the input!

@pejacoby good luck figuring it out. I’m very curious!

@jzb with MastoHelp we found it!

Credit to @alskicav — Pretty Pimpin’ by Kurt Vile is the tune

It was a Monday, no a Tuesday, no a Wednesday…
