Speaking from experience, customers who decline a refund are a huge help in an extremely shitty situation.

If you subscribed to @christianselig’s Apollo app, do this ASAP:

Now Apollo Faces the Cliff

Alas, this situation has become a recurring theme. Now it’s Apollo, the exquisitely well-made Reddit client by Christian Selig.

@marcoarment If you have Apollo Ultra and can’t seem to figure out how to decline a refund, you might have bought the lifetime unlock. Buy the wallpapers and help @christianselig start his next chapter.
@Berryhill @chockenberry @marcoarment @christianselig Thx that explains it. I was wondering why I never saw the option.
@Berryhill @chockenberry @marcoarment @christianselig thanks for clarifying! i thought i was crazy because i couldn’t find the button
@chockenberry @christianselig I’m assuming that since I bought the lifetime unlock with Apollo Ultra, there would be no refunds that I would even be able to decline, right?

@chockenberry @christianselig
Since his app even with the frequent final week upgrades never gave me the opportunity to refuse refund, I’m going to assume I never subscribed in the first place. I don’t even have a Reddit account. I think I used Apollo for passive reading a time or two to avoid the Reddit app nag when clicking a link to Reddit and to see if I should dip in more than a toe.

Of course, there is still the tip jar and other helpful tshotchkes

@christianselig STILL WAITING FOR MY ROYALTYS CHECK FYI
@chockenberry I honestly owe you and @paul a big ol’ cake and drinks of your choice for the help and kindness
@christianselig @paul Seeing your next thing will be reward enough.
