I'm bailing on Evernote. I have an Obsidian license, but it's got a bit of a learning curve.

Where do you store your notes/clipped recipes/random shit/brain? Leave comments if you have other things, or particular reasons?

@justanna I use possibly the worst possible option... which is a bajillion individual Google docs and then search for whatever I happen to be looking for.

I use Trello for the podcast for keeping track of show topics, but it's been progressively less enjoyable since Atlassian bought it out.

@belghast Yeah - I've noticed that about Trello lately. I use ToDoist for tasks, but it's really just for to do lists, and doesn't do major organization particularly well. For what I need it to do, I love it though, esp as Husbot and I can share lists.

I have a MASSIVE and very well organized Google Drive, but I hadn't thought of trying to use it for notes - doesn't seem optimal for saving links and stuff? How do you manage that?

@justanna I don't often save links, and the things that I use regularly I just have the URLs memorized.

For some stuff... I use my blog as external storage for links I care about. The Game Tools section on my blog for example is just a place for me to share links to things I will want again when I am playing that game.

For shared lists the spouse and I use Google Keep.
