After work. #comics #funny #working
@Chrishallbeck : the sitting one speaks for me.
@ladyteruki @Chrishallbeck
lol, probably speaks for l LOT of us ;-) (myself included)
+ this is an attitude that most of us have to learn or better, 'achieve' :)
@Acilius @Chrishallbeck : I went with "too disabled to work anymore" as a solution. No more colleagues XD
@ladyteruki Yeah the person that inspired this no longer works at that company and neither do I.
@Chrishallbeck : when you can't change the culture, that's usually the next best option :) I hope you can enforce your boundaries more easily now.
@ladyteruki @Chrishallbeck Same, I have no desire to socialise with coworkers, I keep work & life separate
@Chrishallbeck Is that the Lego Classic Space logo on that laptop?
@Chrishallbeck There is a magic moment at every awkward work social event where the bravest person says "Okay, time to go". Those magic words open an absolutely flood gate of people who have just been waiting to leave.
@gFam 😊😊😊
@Chrishallbeck Same argument I get into 2x a year for the annual Picnic & Holiday parties. And yet, 5+ years in, they still keep insisting. Sigh.
@Chrishallbeck
I've been retired for a-while-&-a-half, but back when I was working people did NOT have to go out with coworkers after work. We went home (or wherever not-work was). what happened? should we blame THE OFFICE (which I did not watch, but see in the ads that they felt compelled to be with each other all the time)?
