I recently got an Anycubic Photon M3 for printing out terrain pieces but I've been churning out a bunch of STLs I got in a patreon two years back and I *adore* these Gnolls.
@majorthrill I’ve been wondering - after the relative fiasco of my Creality Ender 6 - if I should get a newer, smaller filament printer, or a resin printer. I keep seeing these amazingly detailed results and getting tempted.
@kevinteljeur Ultimately it'll depend on what you're using the print for. If it's going to sit on a shelf looking pretty then absolutely go with resin. If it's more functional then resin is useless. I have both types but I definitely get more use from the resin one and Brid got way more out of the FDM since her stuff would end up outdoors or was more utilitarian.
