That's a first. An intrusive voice offering helpful painting advice. I'll say this for them - they're creative.
What "Who ... me?" pose? That smirk? That dragon is a DM.
By the time it is done it will have been twenty hours of printing including the base but my god the results are smoother than butter and I've always wanted even a peripheral reason to paint up a red (for I feel that is what this is) Dragon.
Just printing things to keep my wife and kids guessing about what they'll have to deal with in our dnd campaign.
I printed them at a 15 micron layer height so they take about 4-6 hours per batch but they're almost indistinguishable from plastic and the level of detail might surpass that of some of the new Games Workshop plastics.
I recently got an Anycubic Photon M3 for printing out terrain pieces but I've been churning out a bunch of STLs I got in a patreon two years back and I *adore* these Gnolls.
Similar structure and vibe to what I was going for with my Vampire Lord with her Zombie mount.
I don't have the focus for painting with covid still hiding out somewhere in my system where my immune system hasn't been able to drag it out for a well deserved kicking. Chopping up foam and slathering on putty and texture paste is about my speed.
