@liztai @0x520 semi on-topic: anyone know how Lemmy and kbin compare?

I see the top google hit for this question is a r*ddit site that says “kbin is more polished and the founder doesn’t have ‘extreme’ political beliefs,” so I’m guessing Lemmy is more appropriate (assuming the ‘extreme’ ones are just nonhierarchical)?
