What's not in focus can be just as important as what *is* in focus in a photo! In this case I like the colours and shapes of the background- it might have been ideal to *not* have the pinky blur (another bud) to the right of the #flower, but it adds to the effect of the red-brown blur looking like an alien/sasquatch 😆 #photography #Macro #BeautyInTheDetails #ArtsyFartsy

This Murdannia loriformis Bright Star which I showed some months ago when I got it-- it has continued to make flowers- on the same stems! over many weeks very tiny, but still always fun to have things flowering indoors, esp on days like this where it has been dark, wet and chilly (still, I'm about to go out!).

@cohanf I totally agree, Cohan. Sometimes the bokeh effect creates wonderful colours or patterns in the background that enhances the photo more than if we could see those objects clearly. Beautiful capture!
@AK_BridgeLake Thanks! I've found these particular tiny flowers to be very enchanting-- and they are on very fine arching stems (the same stems that were there when I bought it, with a couple of spent flowers, it seemed, and some time later it started flowering and the stems just keep extending..)
