I've noticed I have a bit of a subconscious checklist before I respond to people on here now.

  • Check their pronouns.
  • Check their sona's species.
  • Check their littles age.

    3a. If smol, check their diaper.

  • @kepler That is very sweet
    @GhostyCub Nothing is more validating than when someone meets all those for you ;^;
    @kepler It really is and it speaks highly for you. A lot of people don't really bother with it.
    And it is not only the gender identity (which is the most important thing to establish a base respect for each other, especially is somebody is not Cis. That goes without saying).
    But honestly, getting the little age right is such a great bonus.
    Personally I'm getting pretty annoyed if people keep calling me 'baby' because that is not what I am in littlespace. Not what pushes the right buttons or what makes me happy.
    @GhostyCub I tend to default to "kiddo" when I can because it's more inclusive and harder to accidentally step on someone's toes. Kiddo is like my version of they/them ;p
    @kepler I love Kiddo
    @GhostyCub me tooo, it makes me blushy >///>
    @GhostyCub Same its just an awesome word and i love to be called that ^^

    @LilAllan It really is an adorable word and it works out so well.

    Speaking of which...
    @kepler , we got a new adorable kiddo here.
    Not new to us crinkly folk, I know him from the birdsite and met him IRL... but this shy little lynx here is completely new to the fediverse and still trying to find his feet here. Or his tail ;)

    @GhostyCub @LilAllan Yeah!! We played with Hot Wheelz earlier!!
    @kepler @LilAllan Aww, that is good.
    He's a sweet little ear-tufts
    @kepler @GhostyCub Kiddo is the best way to describe me! :D
    @kvikk @GhostyCub Awwr, thanks for letting me know, kiddo :3
