Twitter folks, there is a way to make Mastodon feel like home more UI wise: #MastodonBirdUI, an interface that resembles the Twitter UI.

Many instances support Mastodon Bird UI (like mstdn.social under the theme "Elephant" in your settings) and you can also use it via browser extension.

@dustypaws It's good, but it's a separate app. If you prefer using one and the same, Mastodon Bird UI is for you.

I actually prefer the notification sounds and live feed, Elk doesn't have those.

@karinnelson Your admin can install it as a Site theme or you could set up a browser extension, but if that's too much then you're out of luck 😔 ping @chad, maybe add it as option like in mstdn.social?
