@ollysint Would definitely like to see more news/breaking news posted directly from news outlets. Would like to see more news outlets set up their own instances so they can control what is disseminated.

@ollysint It's going to be hard to generate a Twitter like audience without journalists here and Bluesky is making a concerted effort to get them on board. Fragmentation doesn't spell death for microbloging but it does make it a lot less compelling.

I'm mostly focused on the war on/in #Ukraine and #US and #Canadian politics. #NeverPoilievre - I try to follow responsible #osint accounts that don't jeopardize OpSec . Generally you will see less war videos or fires in #russia here. Toot what interests you and you'll find like-minded followers on #Mastodon (2 Os) and follow those with similar interests.
