MUPPET DUNE
All the main cast are Muppets. The Fremen are all real cats. Sardaukar are real geese. Sandworms are giant CGI Emus.
Baron Harkonnen is the only main character who is human. Played absolutely serious by Jack Black

Eli the Bearded@garius What is it with Muppet movie remakes today. My wife shared a Beauty and the Beast pitch with me earlier. The Beast is the only human, good looking but universally described as ugly by the Muppets, and in the end, he turns into a Muppet to the delight of all.
(The context was: better remakes for Disney to make than these "live action" ones. Disney even owns rights to the Muppets, so no licensing fees.)
