Reminder:

#Russia, unlike #Germany, has never apologized for starting World War II (and many genocides in Europe and Asia)

They didn't even outlaw the promotion of #Stalinism & #communism ! which caused (numerically) the largest number of deaths in the entire 20th century.

Until 🇷🇺 comes to terms with its dark past, it cannot be part of the civilized world. Now, on the contrary, it seems that the dark past is repeating itself.

@insights stalin was no communist in any meaningful sense of the word. To the contrary no one killed more communists than him. please don't confuse authoritarian communists or bolchewists with communism as a whole. There are many flavours of communism which are totaly fine.

@benni

Of course, there is a difference between (original) communist ideology and communist practice in the USSR and other totalitarian countries. Of course, that Stalin considered himself a communist;

But since all dictatorships led by communist parties ended in some form of dictatorship (USSR, China, Albania,East Germany,Cuba...)

I allow myself to use the word "communism" in the sense of the establishment of communist governments in the 20th century; where it was always about totalities.

@insights but than you do exactly what they did. you are playing there game. you destroy any other form of communism. there are plenty of them, still today.
