Once upon a time, there was a community called Little Details on LiveJournal. It was a place where fiction writers of all kinds could ask for help with their fact-checking and research. It was a huge, amazing resource before the collapse of LiveJournal took it down.

I recently decided to try resurrecting it on Dreamwidth. It's now open and ready for questions. Come check it out, and boost if you're so inclined!

@eduardochavez @pompelon Yes, but without the russian owners and restrictions on what you can post. I think it may have forked off some of the early code but it has its own vibe.

@eduardochavez It uses an earlier version of the LiveJournal code, from before the new owners made it terrible. It was set up around the time that LiveJournal was becoming terrible, as an alternative, and has been a small but steady presence since. It's a very fannish platform, but welcomes everyone
