Somewhere along the thread, a white woman actually asked me if I wanted to join her instance, which is run by TWO WHITE WOMEN. That was actually part of her pitch, that the admin and mod are white. So, basically, screw diversity. 😑

@jackyan I challenged the admin of the Oz Masto to get a Muslim mod. Know what she told me? “When a Muslim on our instance is interested, we will consider them.” 😑

@InayaShujaat I so get this. When I first ran for mayor, The Dominion Post and The Wellingtonian wouldn’t even include me in their polls. They love creating their little fantasy lands that look like episodes of Midsomer Murders. We wouldn’t want a reader in Karori being upset!
