I am admittedly no military expert but marching troops into Russia, taking over cities, then marching back out the next day to camps just outside the borders that can easily be wiped off the map sure strikes me as one of the dumbest things I have ever seen
@AbandonedAmerica

I keep thinking
#Putin and #Prigozhin must be working together and that all of this, including the trip to Belarus, is some kind of strategic feint to flank the Ukrainian lines.

Makes about as much (or as little) sense as anything else.
@drakakis @AbandonedAmerica As someone who knows little to nothing about this, that has been my hunch too. But then, I know little to nothing.
@Citizen_Sharon @drakakis I have been guilty in the past of really overanalyzing things that are very stupid for hidden meanings and I think this is probably one of those scenarios
@AbandonedAmerica @drakakis Looking through my mentions and found this. We are over six months post Prigozhin and I still wonder... Do we have any idea happened? It's still so bizarre.
@Citizen_Sharon @drakakis I talked to a friend who knows people in the DOD, going theory is that Prigozhin wanted to force concessions but didn't think that he'd be able to progress as far as he did, which is why he stopped. Didn't want to topple the government, just wanted better treatment and things went further than he'd planned
