I find steam next fest to be extremely overwhelming. There are so many amazing developers making amazing games with heart and passion. The field is so competitive right now. I kind of wish these showcases focused more on curation than quantity.

I really enjoy finding indie games on Game Pass-- there aren't too many and they're hand picked. I want more marketing like that instead of HERES 100 GAMES GOOD LUCK

@old_lady_katie Yeah. And the fact that all of that gets crammed into just one week makes it even more intimidating!

That being said, I think it's cool that Next Fest gives everyone an (at least in theory) equal chance to be seen and in that sense feels like a true indie event. To the interested players however it really is overwhelming.
