What types of apps (i.e. games, browsers, notes) do you have way too many of?
@BasicAppleGuy checkmark graveyard ๐Ÿ˜”
@samhenrigold when your phone looks productive but your life is chaos. ๐Ÿ˜”
@samhenrigold @BasicAppleGuy Reddit apps (for now), weather apps, news apps, email apps, and podcast apps.
@BasicAppleGuy Now the question isโ€ฆ which one of those is your favourite?
@buzzkeil things is my main, clear for smaller/simpler tasks. Trying tasks for the kanban organizing
@BasicAppleGuy photo editing apps ๐Ÿ“ธ
@BasicAppleGuy oh gosh, camera, note taking and browser apps. Too many!

@BasicAppleGuy Until Ivory, it was Mastodon apps.

I've otherwise cleared out my phone from having apps that duplicate functionality. My brain can't take it. (I'm also a 1 page of apps person; out of sight out of mind is real for me.)

@BasicAppleGuy If I install more read later apps Iโ€™ll get more reading done, right?

I have almost no apps.

I use the web. #PWAs if available but otherwise just the mobile web.

Security and privacy are much better in the browser.

@BasicAppleGuy

@BasicAppleGuy Weather Apps โ›ˆ๏ธโ˜€๏ธ
@BasicAppleGuy clock apps, news apps, social media apps, and a lot of games in the same genre
@BasicAppleGuy
None. Always try to keep it minimalistic and clean
@beerisgood Good on ya! This is the way.
@BasicAppleGuy one app to rule them all!? :)
@BasicAppleGuy Probably a tie between web browsers (I have six on my Mac. Why? WHY?) and note-taking/writing apps (I refuse to say how many in public).
@stanjames how many note-taking apps can one person have?

@BasicAppleGuy In my case, all of them. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

(I finally settled on Obsidian.)

@BasicAppleGuy podcast apps and mastodon apps
@stephankleiber how many of each?
@BasicAppleGuy I currently have eight podcast apps installed, but admittedly, I only use two or three of them actively. With Mastodon, itโ€™s more excessive: 17 apps installed, actively using at least seven and arbitrarily switching between them. I just canโ€™t make up my mind. ;)
@BasicAppleGuy Oh, Omnifocus, my first paid app for iOS. The best :)
@BasicAppleGuy Social media appsโ€ฆ I have several third party apps per social media

@BasicAppleGuy mainly notes apps these days trying to find that all singing all dancing all platform note taker.

Every so often I go on a digital declutter of apps on my phone trying to determine if Iโ€™m ever going to use certain apps again. Iโ€™ve so many I have for โ€œjust in caseโ€ lol

@BasicAppleGuy Weather apps.

Upside is I can always find a forecast I like because none of them agree.

@pvanb lol. Love that you decided to give into the intrusive thoughts and add a second page of apps rather than settle on 9

@BasicAppleGuy LOL

The folders all go to eleven ๐Ÿ˜†

@BasicAppleGuy weather. But Iโ€™ve been trying hard not to get any more. Well. Maybe one more. But thatโ€™s it.
