@connected Reality Composer Pro removes foviated rendering when recording on a Mac and records true 4k so everything is sharp. BUT you are limited to 60 seconds of video and then it has to transfer the video to your Mac before you can record again (and you sometimes have to wait for the device to cool down before your next recording).

It really is remarkable just how horrible and ad-riddled modern iOS sports apps are. It’s hard to believe just how horrible the major players’ apps are. And while there’s ONE indie choice, Sports Alerts, it has by far the worst UX of any modern app I’ve experienced.

There’s room for a simple, well-designed app and I would happily pay for it. Someone save us.

@johnvoorhees Hey John - in @viticci’s wonderful iOS 17 review and attached screenshots, I saw that you recently paid for gas using an app clip.

Last year, I worked extensively on an App Clip for Lowe’s Home Improvement stores and quickly finding products on shelves. Throwing this out there as another Charlotte local, but should you ever have a spare moment to check it out in the store, I’d love your thoughts!
