Looks like the Thunderbolt KVM Switch is available on Amazon. Specs look just like the CalDigit Element Hub with a switch added on to it. Guessing there's no hotkey input switch and I've got a feeling it only charges the connected device. But hey if you've been waiting for something like this for years, it’s here.

@paul damn, I’ve been wanting one of these but $300 is more than I was expecting. Guess I’ll wait for long term reviews before dropping cash on this
@whatthecj @paul you’d probably need an additional thunderbolt cable or 2 too 💸
@paul @martinez Always curious to know what happens when a KVM is “off” of a given input If macOS thinks a monitor is getting unplugged every time, it doesn’t work for me. Somehow, this feature is exceedingly rare and poorly publicized.
@bkbkbk I would be very surprised if it did any sort of EDID emulating/spoofing.
@paul this would allow 2 Macs to share a single XDR with attached keyboard and mouse?
@paul @martinez wish this had come out a year ago
@paul too bad these are so technically complex because $300 to avoid swapping a cable back and forth is a bit much
@paul does this give thunderbolt to the host devices? The host devices are connected over usb-c??
@paul @martinez Looking for a new hub for my M1 Pro. Any one have any recommendations?

I’m using this one and it’s working fine! A little limited but ends up attending at least for now some things
