Recently got a hard drive that was in my parents' home 8000 miles away. Photos that I thought were boring at the time (in 2009) are now so nostalgic, given the circumstances:

Tragic that this site was destroyed.
Likewise I was lucky enough to be there around 2008 prior to its demise. I also visited Krak des Chevaliers - the incredible crusader castle nearby - perhaps you also saw it.
