Importing 171 fonts into #Windows10 just crashed the whole OS. Hanging and unresponsive...What is this? #WindowsVista or #WinMe all over? 🀬 πŸ€ͺ
@77slevin there's always Linux too

@jahway603 Oh I know, been dabbling with Linux since Red Hat Linux 6.4. Went full time Linux Mint user after a 10 year MacOS period., from Linux Mint 17.3 on.

The problem is I use #Fusion360 for preparing #3Dprinting models. The application is partly web based and flat out refuses to run on any kind of Wine/Proton/Bottles emulation on Linux, so I still need a Windows partition.

And I know Linux has many CAD solutions, but they feel rudimentary compared to Fusion.

@77slevin @jahway603 OnShape does a decent job of filling that same niche for me on Linux. Very similar, just a little bit of relearning different icons for basically the same tools.
@PuririSplinter @jahway603 I'll check it out. Just checked: Didn't know they too had a free plan for hobbyists. Only read about their paid solutions, which was too rich for my blood. πŸ˜„

@77slevin @jahway603 the catch with the free plan is that your creations are accessible to anybody who cares to hunt them down.

If you're working on top secret stuff, it might not be the right choice.

If you're like me, and making brackets to hold the kick-board to the legs of your oven, nobody cares!

Their mobile app is pretty legit too.

@PuririSplinter @jahway603 Thanks for the heads up, but if anybody is interested in the kitchen towel hooks I would make, they can help themselves to them πŸ˜‚ My items are strictly hobby stuff with an emphasis on movie props.
