Went to move my car for street sweeping, and it sounds like someone stole my catalytic converter. Great start to the summer.

Welp. $2400 to replace the catalytic converter on a 12 year old car with 93,000 miles and several other (minor) issues.

Add to this the fact that I just started a year-long sabbatical and don't need to commute to work for the next 15 months.

So instead I'm googling "How to donate junk car to trans rights charity."

Not worth having my rates go up. I was already starting to look for a new car before this happened. It's been a good run.
