@robb sorry, not a grammar issue, a typographic one.

Apostrophes (and quotation marks) should be angled, not straight.

If the symbol just goes straight it’s just for referring to feet or inches.

(The rule is okay to ignore in general, as long as you’re consistent)

@BenRiceM disabling “smart” quotes in TextEdit and everywhere else is one of the first things I do when setting up any new Mac.
