Doug DimickI’m completely flummoxed that #reddit is staying the course on their #api fees. It’s as if the Titanic saw the iceberg before they left port, and still steered the ship right into it. @doug @christianselig I empathize with Christian's current situation and understand if he feels overwhelmed about transitioning to Mastodon, Lemmy, or both. Realizing that he has essentially lost a project he's poured his heart and soul into can be devastating. However, his potential influence in steering people towards new federated platforms is immense, should he decide to take on that opportunity.
