How to survive in corporate hell as a linux person who needs a "normal" job for a living:

1) use social engineering to officially get local admin
2) enable WSL2
3) use your favorite OSS tools
4) ????
5) profit

I used to bend security policies and live happily with a linux machine, but with today's hardening policies, it's easier to just use WSL2.

@kayla_eilhart @SwiftOnSecurity WSL2 has become a useful tool. Much improved over WSL1. I still found myself working with IT to get a Linux workstation approved, but WSL2 held me for much longer than I anticipated.
