"So, while I'm sure there are many who will claim we shouldn't speak ill of the dead, I would like to point out that Pat Robertson went out of his way to inflict suffering on innocent people grieving the loss of their loved ones."

My Thoughts on Pat Robertson

Listen now (3 min) | A reflection on a decayed soul.

Charlotte's Web Thoughts
@charlotteclymer @almondtree fuck that guy, when he was alive, and now dead 👍🏾

@charlotteclymer

“I am holding his family in my prayers today, and I hope they receive far more love than he ever offered us”

Well said.

@charlotteclymer While I never wish anyone harm or death, when a truly horrible person dies I think "YES, FINALLY" Sorry, not sorry!
@charlotteclymer as they advise, I’ll not speak ill of the dead. He’s dead. Good.
@charlotteclymer addition by subtraction. I'll chill a bottle of champagne...
@charlotteclymer He’s gone to a place that will make Hell look like an amusement park.
@charlotteclymer I wish there was an actual hell because that's where he should spend all of eternity.

@charlotteclymer

Progress is made one death at a time. May Robertson's successors be less harmful.

I used to watch the 700 Club to see that evil afoot there..

.. the faith healing grift, where he'd close his eyes and scrunch up his face with the effort of drawing money out of unseen, frightened people with a television amplified one way cold read.

.. the prosperity gospel grift, where he guaranteed that some god would give to you ten times what you gave to CBN.

.. and his attribution of natural disaster to the displeasure of a bigoted god who hatred mirrored his own.

@seachanged @charlotteclymer My Mom watched that crap as well. A big reason I ran from religion like my hair was on fire.

@charlotteclymer @seachanged Did you see the one where he told people to put their hands on their TV screens? Horrifying.

All "Christian" programming should come with warnings about "These statements have not been verified as true"

@charlotteclymer
"Every man's death diminishes me." Except this one.

@charlotteclymer

He might have been less fucking evil than Adolf Hitler but I suspect most people would speak ill of Hilter, so why not speak ill of Pat the Evil.

@charlotteclymer one should only speak good of the dead.

Pat Robertson is dead, good.

@charlotteclymer I skipped breakfast this morning to make a drawing for him. Happy Pride Month, Pat!
@charlotteclymer I also came across an article in Radio and Records, a music industry trade publication, years ago regarding a court case in which a pro wrestler was suing him for breach of contract, not paying him for promotional work. This hypocritical piece of shit, Pat Robertson, is quoted in that article speaking outside the courthouse using a massive string of the F word and variations of it that would equal or surpass anything you see on Succession.
@charlotteclymer
The idiot grifting fake claimed 911 was casued by gays...His stupid nuckledraggers believed him. Fuck him forever.

@charlotteclymer This is a guy that cheered for the deaths of millions of gay men during the peak of the AIDS epidemic rather than having care and compassion.

Kinda wish I believed in God and divine retribution, but no. He was a wretched selfish hateful blight on humanity and did harm to literally millions and lived comfortably for nearly a century.

I'll say something good about him: It's good he's gone.

@charlotteclymer ding dong the witch is dead
@charlotteclymer I’m glad he’s dead. Anytime someone like this dies, in my head I hear “ding dong the witch is dead” on loop. I don’t speak ill of the dead that don’t deserve it, but he was a hateful slime piece of trash and we should put it out and be glad to be rid of it.
@charlotteclymer They say we shouldn't speak ill of the dead. Pat Robertson is dead... Good.
@charlotteclymer Ca't think of anything nice to say about Hitler

@charlotteclymer

Pat Robertson was a god-salesman and a politician. A loathsome man lacking in Christian values. On reading of his passing all I could think was "Burn Baby Burn."
