Well alrighty then! So our 36 hour jaunt to Germany consisted of an early morning walk to central train station in Amsterdam and then a train to Schiphol, the airport. From there we hopped a short flight to Munich. From Munich we took a train to Ingolstadt and from the Ingolstadt train station, a tax to the museum.

So once upon a time, before there was the VW Golf, there was the VW Passat. The Passat was a joint venture build with VW's stablemate, Audi. Audi built the B1 and B2 Passats, and their brother, the Audi 80 AKA Fox.

My VW Passat is a German built B1, so I got to visit his birthplace!
