Has Gruber yet opened up The Talk Show to more diverse voices from women or people of color?
I stopped reading and listening to John after he made a racist quip "You're folding it wong." against Ray Wong in February 2021. https://twitter.com/gruber/status/1229815856768614401?s=20
I'm also surprised by ticket cost, but respect that he offers a lower tier for anyone who feels that they needed it.

I vaguely remember this incident. I didn’t think the joke was overly offensive. Sophomoric for sure, but puns involving names almost always are. I didn’t find it anymore racist than a crass joke about somebody with the last name “Johnson”, just kinda dumb.
And I say this as a guy with an Asian surname that has been the butt of dumb jokes since my classmates were old enough to talk.

Women, rarely. Usually those are personal friends/journalists. Joanna Stern has appeared on the show a few times that I can recall. Another female tech writer who now works at Apple has been on the show once that I recall.
As for POC, it’s a podcast, so I have no idea what these people look like. They’re just disembodied voices. If I had to guess, I’d say they are majority of European descent, but obviously he has folks like Nilay Patel on at regular intervals.
