Back to work after a few days break.
While we wait for Apple to announce Google Glass 2.0 at #wwdc, I'm experimenting with an improved post layout for @woollyapp

On the left the current layout, on the right with some additional info on boosts and favs.
What do you think?

Like many of you noted, all those avatars make the whole thing a bit too crowded.
Here's another version, borrowing some ideas from the Twitter app.

I like this approach, as I can easily group different info about the post in a single place and make it easier to navigate to the list of boosts and favs.

@mttvll Nice, appreciate the cleanliness of this version.
@mttvll That‘s way better. :)
@mttvll @woollyapp
Yes, prefer that updated layout👍🏻
Do you have any plans for having sounds when tooting, boosting etc?
@mttvll @woollyapp Something else i’ve been meaning to ask about. Any plans to be able to preview your photo’s you have added to a toot?
@sinky yes, that's coming in the next update
@mttvll @woollyapp assuming this is the detail view not just tapping a post. Pretty cluttered, difficult to tap an individual or recognize who they are by small avatar.
@mttvll
I prefer no information at all by default tbh 😅

I prefer current. The total count is simple and clean and everything I need to know in a scroll-through of the timeline.

If I’m diving deeper into a post, the the additional info is helpful. So, maybe reserve this for the single-post view.

@brian yes, that would be for the single post view - not on the timeline
@mttvll @woollyapp I much prefer the original. It’s easier to see at a glance and feels way calmer. I don’t feel the truncated list of avatar images adds anything - both views ultimately show the total number and the original does it in cleaner way.
@mttvll @woollyapp Way better. To see people’s avatars makes it not only more appealing, but I‘d rather explore other profiles too. I wouldn’t mind this being the default.
@mttvll @woollyapp One (left) - who boosted & faved is secondary information & makes it feel heavy. All that extra info on Two (right) gets in the way of the thread.
