Hm. Not clear what the final step is for the red wires. If there's just a single bend in the left wire or the end is just getting snipped off, that looks like it would pull apart really easily under tension
@wrog the end that sticks out gets bent over and back up, forming a very tall U and keeping the coil form sliding off.
In _my_ case what i actually intend to do is the red knot, then solder it because I'm like that, so it'll go nowhere ever. and the reason i'm caring about this is because i want my soldered-together connectors not to be lumpy. it bothers me. #picky
