The question is, do I reorder 3 months worth of #Dexcom #G6, or do I hedge my bets that #Tandem will have a #G7 update by the time my existing 4mo supply runs out, and start stockpiling #G7 transmitters now?

@VTDARKSIM oh that's a tough call!

One would hope that an _additional_ 4 months atop the 4 months they've already had (plus so many more months of advance notice) would be sufficient.

And yet...

@rzen @VTDARKSIM well if it's Dexcom holding stuff up... They're usually over a year behind on supporting Android versions. So definitely reorder.

@The_Turtle_Moves @rzen nah this is on Tandem’s end. Dexcom & Tandem are partners of a sort with their products but apparently don’t communicate/collaborate on their product releases, so when Dex released the G7, Tandem was unprepared to incorporate it into their pump Control IQ software and said they need a number of months to update. Sloppy from a teamwork standpoint, especially with the lack of a clear target date for resolution.

@VTDARKSIM @rzen same with omnipod and me, but I still blame Dexcom because omnipod stuff consistently works and Dexcom stuff consistently doesn't in the dumbest ways. Never seen anything have so much trouble determining whether or not integer x>integer y.
