Hopeful Humanizer@davidzipper Unfortunately, where I live, I already have to deal with large gas-powered SUV's (status symbols) or large pickup trucks (phallic symbols). As a cyclist I am acutely aware of the danger I already face. More cycling paths to facilitate shopping and commuting are needed, yet the only paths we have here are considered 'recreational'. Transportation needs to get off fossil fuels, but also needs to focus on non-motorized means.
