@ehud indeed, I'm pretty sure yours is still there, but your point is well-taken and the fix is under development. You'll soon be able to search all profiles, not just 20-30 in each category

@DataDrivenMD This looks great. I wish it linked to the profiles rather than forcing a log in to follow. Otherwise you can't see what someone posts, etc.

@cdevroe The link is there, but it takes you to the public version of the profile. The reason for the log-in is to prevent trolls from using this resource to circumvent user-level blocks and instance-level suspensions. The log-in credentials are never stored by us. They remain in your browser's temporary storage until you log out or close the tab/window.

If/once you log in, it also shows you whether you're already following someone or not

@wigbert https://discover.fedified.com changes dynamically based on who has posted most recently. Follower count is used as well, but the impact of follower count is considered within each category and across categories. So niche topics aren't crowded out and prevents gaming the system by signing up for every category --> this dilutes their impact across categories.

The final list is capped at 40 profiles per category to keep each page manageable.
