Timothy McVeigh used a van similar to that to bomb OKC. I'm surprised that terriorist got that close to the White House.
Did they bother to lift the door and see if there was a bomb in it before they towed it?

The caveat here is giving someone like Trump the ability to define who a terrorist is.
I.e. tools that make sense for the 'good guys' to use can be wielded by the fascists if they take power.
It's a war we have to win, but we won't win every battle and hopefully we keep that in mind when putting the tools in place.

@flexghost ffs I shared FOUR different sources because I *knew* someone would claim bias. Basically, just demonstrating that yes this is a story that exists instead of just completely trusting some random source-less social media post. I don’t actively follow any of those shared, but they were the quickest to come up with a quick web search.
You could, you know, just include *a* source instead of perpetuating placing blind trust in famously-reliable social media. 🙄

Of course they are. A terrorist is one who uses violence or the threat of violence to effect political change. They're US citizens. That makes them domestic terrorists.
I dream of a world where nazis are shitting their pants afraid for their lives 24/7 and take sharp vegetable peelers to their tattoos on the evening news as atonement.
@flexghost @marq Every little thing has them quaking in their boots. Take books for instance. The most innocuous title, no matter its classic status, is an offense to them.
When you cite the books that have been called to be banned, sane people can't believe what they're hearing. Titles that have been bedtime reading fare for ages have been targeted, e.g., The Little Prince (critiques grown-ups), Winnie-the-Pooh (talking animals), Little Red Riding Hood (wine in picnic basket.)
Apparently they're not afraid enough of our laughter and scorn to not organize and act to get laws passed and make other's lives hell.
Belittling them, however rightfully, isn't working.
